Busy reading The Love That Saved Me From The Love Of My Life, by Nomzamo Mosia. Each one of Nomzamo’s books have impacted me deeply, so I thought it was important to share this one chapter, from her book:
We walk this journey of life not knowing the Love of God, the Love of The Father towards us. We are always told about the duty of being a child of God. We are given commands, rules and regulations, as if we are in a courtroom, being accused; when we are actually in a heart room, with a room full of unconditional Love; a relationship that is accepted in The Beloved, as The Beloved by The Beloved, Himself (Ephesians 1:6)!
Due to the rules and regulations they give us, “You are worthless before God,” already. Some, if not many, people are not interested in knowing God because they feel boxed in by the approach, before the introduction. In God’s eyes, we are to die for (Romans 5:8); “We are worth it!” We are asked if, “We know God,” but we are not told of how He knows every detail of our lives (Psalm 139:1-18). We are told about how we don’t love Him, and we are barely made aware of how He Loves us. They tell us how important God is, without telling us how important we are to Him; telling us how it’s all about Him, when He made it all about us at the cross. We are constantly told of how we are nothing without Him, instead of being told that He is our everything.
We have been given a distorted view of God, The Father. A distorted view I have never found in Him, when He found me. Being told how He can change the world without us, but the truth is, He doesn’t want to change the world without us. We are told about how He doesn’t need us, without being made aware of how He chose to make us in His image (Genesis 1:26-27), and that He breathed His very breath into us. People say so many things about God, The Father, which are not true. People tell others, “Without God you are dead,” without telling them that, “He died for them” (John 3:16). Not many speak about Him in this way. Not many tell us that He has plans for you and me (Jeremiah 29:11 and Psalm 68:19), and that He wants you to prosper.
He has been introduced as a demanding God, yet He supplies us daily with His Goodness. There is no one so interested in your well-being like God, The Father, (3 John 1:2). He is so interested in us, in such overwhelming ways that we, ourselves, are still yet to understand. He knows how many hairs you have on your head (Luke 12:7). I was amazed by this truth because hair grows every day and falls out every day. This made me aware of His interest in my daily life. God shows His interest towards us on a daily basis and in the simplest ways. Yes, “HE IS A BIG GOD, BUT HE CARES ABOUT THE LITTLE THINGS.” Above everything else, He chose to speak about your hair, my hair, our hair. He didn’t say, “I know you by the number of chapters of the Bible that you read today, or by the prayers that you pray.” No, He is not like that. This is why we call Him FATHER. Why does it matter that you read chapters of His Word every day, without acknowledging that He Loves You (Ephesians 3:19), and that He is interested in every detail of your life because you are created in His detail? How can He not know your details? He is not interested in the small portions of the life He has given you, after all, HE IS YOUR PORTION. He is fully interested in you, to the fullest measure, because of His immeasurable Love towards you. As much as God has a will, He is aware of our desires. His will is to see us happy, successful, healthy and at peace, so that we may live a fulfilling and a satisfying life (John 10:10b NLT); a life that doesn’t damage our image (Romans 12:2), but rather a life that proves that WE ARE DIVINE (2 Peter 1:4).
Many have looked at The Word of God as a box; but it is not! The Word is a mirror. It is a true reflection of who you really are and where you see yourself as divine as God, The Father, sees you. The Father is interested in every aspect of your life and He wants to be there for you, forever and always. He is always here for you to hear and feel your heartbeat and to give you a clear vision. This is why He is near, so that you don’t fear tomorrow. He holds you by the hand, so that you may know that He holds your tomorrow, and that He withholds no good thing from you.
Jesus Christ died on the cross to give us a relationship with The Father. A relationship is not based on commandments; it is based on a conversation. The beauty of duty, is found in a devoted heart that loves unconditionally, and that is the condition of The Father’s heart towards us, no matter the condition and positions we find ourselves in because of lack of knowledge. He still remains the same towards us.
When I decided to write this book, I was so overwhelmed and inspired by the Love of God, and the freedom I experienced within the same atmosphere of Love. He began to speak to me about my dreams and He directed my passion (Psalm 32:8), so that I should not burn out, or burn myself, with the passion that He bestowed on me, but rather that I fan my passion into flames, so I can enlighten others to follow their dreams, pursue their purpose and express their passion. To express the reality of what you created in your mind, is true liberation to a nation, for a generation.
THE BIBLE WAS PRESENTED TO ME AS COMMANDMENTS, BUT I FOUND LOVE LETTERS INSTEAD! My prayer for you, is that you experience the Love of the Father for yourself, so that you may explore the lawlessness of righteousness that gives you the freedom to express your passion and live out the reality of your dreams, without holding you back. Love freedom, Live Passionately!
Without a doubt, Nomzamo’s books are definitely amongst the top 10 books that I have had the privilege of reading and publishing. Even in one-on-one discussions with her, she has managed to impact my life greatly, all without her knowing it… or, at least, knowing to what extent she has impacted my life. Nomzamo has a simple, yet profound insight that has left me with a completely different mindset and way in which I view things now.
